About

Jake is a native of Texas, growing up in San Antonio. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University in history and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Angelo State University in San Antonio. Jake has been a middle school instructor for a number of years, however, his most recent role in education was as an Assistant Principal at Flour Bluff Middle School in Corpus Christi, TX.

Mr. Lyda recently moved to Pennsylvania after marrying Anna Kaufmann, a speech-language pathologist from Gettysburg. He is now employed in her family’s business at All About Hearing, LLC. Jake is currently finishing his apprenticeship to be a Pennsylvania licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist and looks forward to working with those in need of hearing services in the Adams-Franklin County area.
